Bio-DX Training Program Conducted for NCFS in Hiroshima

PtBio Group recently conducted the "Bio-DX Implementation Training for Advanced Food Authenticity" program for the National Centre for Food Safety (NCFS), Malaysia. We were pleased to welcome Ms. Noryanti Rahmat and Ms. Norhidayah Sahid from NCFS as attendees for this intensive training.

The core bioinformatics lecture sessions were led by Prof. Bono, Chief Scientific Officer(CSO) at PtBio Inc. and analytical exercises were conducted by Dr. Kazuki Nakamae, Chief Bioinformatician at PtBio Inc. The comprehensive program aimed to elevate NCFS's existing wet-lab capabilities into legally defensible "Digital Evidence" to combat modern food fraud. By utilizing PtBio’s Biological Digital Transformation (Bio-DX) methodologies, the NCFS experts were trained to autonomously analyze massive DNA datasets generated by Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies.

This initiative marks a significant step in digitizing Malaysia's food safety protocols. We remain committed to our ongoing collaboration with NCFS and look forward to further supporting the nation's human capital development and food safety investigations.
