Announcing the Official Establishment of PtBio Asia Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia!

We are thrilled to announce that on March 12, 2025, PtBio Asia Sdn. Bhd. was officially established in Malaysia. Serving as the strategic hub for overseas expansion centered in the Asian market, we are a proud subsidiary of our Japanese parent company, PtBio Inc.

Our parent company, PtBio Inc., is a pioneering startup founded in Japan in 2019, centered around the proprietary Japanese genome editing technology known as "Platinum TALEN." Through industry-academia co-creation, the PtBio Group is advancing the social implementation of genome editing and Bio-DX technologies, with the ultimate goal of solving global social challenges and contributing to the SDGs.

Our journey in Southeast Asia began in January 2024, when PtBio Inc. set up an initial activity base at the Center of Garage Malaysia (CoGMY) in Cyberjaya, Malaysia's leading innovation city. Now, as a fully incorporated local entity, PtBio Asia is ready to drive these environmental and energy-focused biotechnology initiatives forward even faster.

Guided by our shared mission, "Designing biological functions to solve social issues," we at PtBio Asia look forward to pioneering the future with biotechnology right here from Malaysia to the world.
