PtBio CSO Hidemasa Bono Delivers Lecture at Universiti Malaya

On April 17, 2026, Professor Hidemasa Bono, Chief Scientific Officer of PtBio and faculty member at the Graduate School of Integrated Sciences for Life, Hiroshima University, delivered an insightful lecture at the “CEBAR Expert Seminar.” This event was proudly hosted by The Centre for Research in Biotechnology for Agriculture (CEBAR) at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia.
This special lecture was organized as part of the international outreach initiatives driven by the Center of Innovation for Bio-DX, a joint endeavor in which PtBio actively participates alongside Hiroshima University.
During his presentation, Professor Bono shared the latest advancements in genome editing and bioinformatics. He particularly focused on the current challenges and future prospects regarding the practical implementation of genome editing technologies and whole-genome sequencing.
